Motivation is conscious and unconscious forces that initiate and, direct our behaviour. Motivation is something that energizes and directs our behaviour for the attainment of a goal. There are many ways to motivate an individual in a different situation like in school, work, or any other related situation. The principle that I would use to motivate an individual is an incentive principle as incentive are stimuli in our surroundings that can either motivate or demotivate us, depending on the nature of the stimulus.
